• Promote and support educational institutions, visual and performing arts and health care organizations programs by providing cottage accommodations at a reasonable cost.
• Share our part of the valley and love of the Gorge.

Cottage Rental Summary:

Conveniently located at the Whitewater Gorge Park South Trailhead, the Cottage is nestled in a verdant river setting. Explore the unique historic geography via paved trails that will lead you along the river, through sun-dappled woods. The path makes an excellent bicycle outing. Venture into the Gorge and return to the air-conditioned cottage or relax on the deck.

The Cottage has 2 bedrooms, one full bath, and a fully equipped country kitchen, ideal for dining in. One bedroom has one double bed while the other bedroom contains two twin beds. The cottage is furnished with antiques that lends to its cozy, cottage character. Slow down the pace and be entertained by the local flora and fauna while sipping that fresh cup of coffee in the morning sun on the deck or read your favorite book on the covered porch while the world goes by.

Television and telephone are not available in the cottage. Music is available to fill the evening air with a favorite oldie, chosen from many vintage records, or play your favorite CD in the rustic, knotty pine music room. Or simply enjoy twilight in the Gorge from the deck, watching nature come to life with deer, rabbit, and raccoons that are a prominent way of river life. Be entertained by family and friends as technology falls to the wayside and embracing nature prevails.

Beyond the Gorge, the Antique Malls and Shops on US 40, (National Road) are easily accessible. The Cottage is conveniently located to Antique Alley and a short drive to historic Metamora, IN. In Metamora, follow the tow path to the working locks, aqueduct, working grist mill, shops and of course the Brook Hollow Creations Shop, our antique shop.

The cottage is a non-smoking escape. No pets please.

Check In: After 3:00PM unless prior arrangements are made. Check Out is 11:00AM. A deposit of one night rate requested. Payment is to be made with cash, traveler's check or personal check.

The rate is $85 per night with a minimum two night stay required plus sales and lodge taxes.
